VE Day
Ofsted 2025: "Pupils learn about different countries and cultures. As part of this, visitors often come in and talk to pupils about different national days and faith-linked celebrations. Pupils gain knowledge and understanding of celebrations in modern Britain. They learn why it is important to respect and value difference."
Heart Partners
From their first day in Foundation Stage, our infant pupils are taught about unconditional love. Whether someone is smiling or frowning, laughing or quiet, Quilteenees are taught to always make time to check in with others, with a fist bump, a high five, a handshake or even a hug. Quilters is a school built on kindness and love.
I can. I am. I have. The Cross Bar Challenge
We want our junior children to understand Maslow's Triangle and that to be the best version of yourself, to self-actualize, you need to be able to self-care and say kind things, appreciative things about yourself. To that end, Junior pupils are asked to say one I am, one I can and one I have sentence about themselves everyday. Imagine how much more resilient they will be, how much stronger their self-belief will be if they say something nice to themselves daily. Go on, ask them to!
The Walk of Fame
Quiteenees and Quitonians are family. They are brothers and sisters. Junior pupils are the infant pupils big brothers and big sisters. Pupils love to excel, they love to excel but they equally love to celebrate the achievements of their brothers and sisters. We are a school built on kindness and love. To be the best version of yourself, to self-actualize, we all need recognition from others, we all need genuine, heart-felt praise.
A parliamentary debate
Providing pupils with the best possible oracy skills is a crucial objective for Quilters' Schools. In each year, pupils are taught to explain, discuss and debate with increasing skill. The use of sentence stems and an insistence on using standard English at the correct times is key to this. Their oracy skills will, we hope, wow future employers.

Q-Dance 2024 - The Grand Final
Some of our pupils from Year Six have put together a dance competition called Q-Dance. Last term. They auditioned performers from all year groups and had the very difficult task of choosing the finalists. The finalists had to qualify through two round of tough auditions to make the Grand Final. Well done to them all! Please vote for your favourite contestant! Voting ends at 4pm on Monday 6th May 2024. All junior parents/carers will have been emailed the link.
